Mayze is our token appaloosa filly that is growing into a beautiful 2-year-old. She is by Nuggets Super Shado and out of Chaser’s May Day. Mayze has a fantastic disposition, an amazing hip and an exceptionally cute head. Her color genetics should be Ee Aa possibly with a sabino gene and homozygous for LP. This means she will always produce an appaloosa patterned foal and can produce blacks, bays or chestnuts depending on the sire’s color genetics. This mare is offered for sale and would make a great pleasure show horse. Under saddle and working nicely. Will consider a trade for a quality halter mare.
Description:
ApHC registered, gentle with solid groundwork and saddle foundation. This filly is eligible for KyBIF, but not enrolled. All around horse that is currently 15-15.1 hands and is still maturing (dam is over 16 hh). She is currently ridden and has been lightly jumped in a busy environment. She is responsive, rides on no contact, stops with one rein, leg yields, haunch turn etc, but is still learning. Mayze will make a great family horse with finished training. For future breeding interests, she should be homozygous for the LP gene, although she has not been genetically tested to date. Dam has open and amateur Halter points and this filly has multiple world champions in her pedigree.
