Private integrated balance consultations are offered in the central Kentucky area including Lexington, Harrodsburg, Frankfort, Versailles, Nicholasville and Midway. Integrated balance consultations include manual therapy service and evaluation of individual horse conformation, performance style and level to promote athletic performance. Manual therapy is a combination of massage, stretching, and physical integration movements used on horses. These techniques aid in decreasing physical tension, increasing range of motion, and assisting movement through training and standard exercise. This therapy is complementary to veterinary techniques and should not substitute for medical practices. Clinics which combine the study of equine biomechanics and rider influence on performance are also offered. The clinician has over 8 years of experience in manual therapy, over 20 years experience in the equine industry and a PhD in animal physiology.
